Supported by the UK and Swedish software industries, TickIT was developed to provide increased confidence and support to those involved in software development and its application. The aim of the scheme is to provide industry with a practical framework for the management of software development quality and includes:
- Guidance material to assist software organisations interpret the requirements of ISO 9001
- Training, selecting and registering auditors with IT experience and competence
- Rules for the accreditation of certification bodies practising in the software sector
Certification to ISO 9001:2000 and TickIT demonstrates that the company is committed to continual improvement which returns improved product and services and improved process efficiency.
