Automotive styling
In today’s highly competitive automotive industry, styling is a major differentiator between brands. Getting the shape right to create the desired image about luxury, comfort or sportiness is key for both interior and exterior designers. Although a lot of the design work is done in a virtual environment, final validation and fine-tuning is done using rapid prototyping or clay models.

Laser scanner is the ideal solution to check how well prototypes correspond to the digital models and to the capture the physical modifications done by the designer in order to feed them back into CAD. The major advantages of laser scanning are:
