Application engineer
Job description:
Currently, we are looking for an application engineer, to enforce our Service & Aftermarket team for Northern Europe, reporting directly to our Director Service & Aftermarket. He/she will be based in Metris Leuven.
Tasks:
- Customer training both in the Leuven office and at the customer.
- training and support of resellers.
- Part programming of complex geometrical parts and sheet metal parts both on and off line
- Training to advanced CMM level
- Hot line support.
- Supporting by phone and on site visits in North Europe, with the focus on Benelux.
- Supporting turn key projects.
Requirements:
· Master or bachelor degree in technical engineering (industrial engineer or A1).
· languages: English, French, Dutch.
· ability to read drawings and understand metrology.
· flexibility and willingness to travel abroad.
· spontaneous and open communicator.
· able to work independently, strong personality.
A plus:
·metrology experience
· CAD/3D experience
· Language: German
